Fredericton Raceway

Fredericton Raceway is Canada’s oldest horse track and hosted Queen Elizabeth II when she watched her first ever harness race in 1959. The current track was established in 1887, replacing the old racecourse of 1863 which was displaced by the railway.

Located on the Fredericton Exhibition Grounds at 365 Smythe Street, racing runs weekly from May through September, including several times per week during the Fredericton Exhibition (FREX).

Fredericton Raceway is colocated with Winners Lounge, a full service bar with restaurant and Coasters video lotto site where you can make off-track bets 363 days of the year.
